4-inch Palo Santo Smudge Sticks, ethically sourced
Palo Santo is a sacred wood from the magical Palo Santo tree, native to the coast of South America. Its name literally means holy wood. When it is burned the smoke is believed to have both medicinal and therapeutic healing energies. Traditionally it is burned by the Inca's, indigenous people of the Andes, shamans and medicine people for spiritual purifying, energy cleansing and healing. It can also be used to inspire creativity, evoking protection, infusing blessings and bringing good fortune and attracting love.
It is useful pre and during meditation, with its uplifting aroma helping to raise your vibrations to bring a deeper connection to Mother Earth and source energy.
Some of the physical healing benefits include relieving symptoms of common colds, stress, headaches, anxiety, inflammation, emotional trauma and more.
It is also useful for setting and sealing your intentions.
These Palo Santo sticks have been ethically sourced, wild harvested from fallen trees by a family who have planted 30,000 trees in Ecuador over the past 10 years. The fallen trees lay dead for 4-20 years before they are harvested. This ensures a very high-quality product that is surrounded by love and respect.
To use: Before you start, open your doors and windows so stuck or negative energy has an escape exit route.
Light the stick on one end with a match or lighter, allowing the stick to catch fire and flame for 30-60 seconds. Gently blow the flame out. You may need to relight several times, it is normal for Palo Santo to self-extinguish. Say aloud, 'I ask the plant spirit of Palo Santo please infuse my space and home with blessings.'
Start at the top of the house and work downwards from the back to the front of each room, paying particular attention to windows and doorways.
When you are finished, place the Palo Santo stick in a heatproof dish, I generally extinguish mine in a dish of sand.
